Poets Dress

​​Our dreamiest style to date, the Poet's Dress has been crafted from soft European flax linen in three painterly colours. Featuring subtle gathering and a full button front, the Poet's Dress can be worn open as a light jacket or simply as a dress. We include pockets where possible, and the Poet's Dress is no exception with lovely generous side pockets in true Metta Melbourne style.

Eve is 170cm tall, an AU size 8. Lotta is 180cm tall, an AU size 8 and is wearing the Sycamore Green (Sold out). Both wear the 'one size' Poet's Dress. 

All measurements are in cm, all garments are made by hand and may vary slightly. 

Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat (double for circumference).

To determine the best fit for you… We recommend looking at the garment’s measurements not only in relation to your body but also in comparison to a similar style of clothing you own. This is a great way of understanding the shape and size of a style.

Embrace the wrinkles… Our linen styles are made from premium European flax linen, pre-washed, and ready to wear on arrival. Some of our linen garments are lightly pressed - within no time the fabric will soften with wear, crinkles and wrinkles will come naturally, giving it that stunning unironed look that we have all come to love. If you would like to speed up this process, we recommend popping it in the washing machine and following the care label washing instructions.
